St David's Church has been at the heart of Merthyr Tydfil since 1847. It was built in the Victorian Gothic style and is situated in the middle of the town centre next to the library and the Red House. It has its own choir and organist and is used for many special events such as concerts, festivals and Civic services, as well as regular midweek and Sunday worship. It is home to the community initiative St David’s Baby Bank, which supports young families in the heart of our community.
