Everyone is welcome to the many varied church and non-church events that are held in the Parish throughout the year. These include concerts, festivals, celebrations, tea parties, Cafe Church, Messy Church (shown above), film nights, sales, fayres and so on. Please check back regularly for full details and follow the Parish on Facebook

2018 

Ss Peter & Paul Summer Fete Saturday 23rd June at 2pm

“The Family of God” Sunday 24th June 2018, 6pm at St Tydfil’s Church - an evening of celebrating The Family of God. Nominate your favourite hymn, bible passage or spiritual reading/poem and introduce it at the service. An opportunity to share with our church family part of your story with God, and to encourage one another. Please let Rev Charlotte or the churchwardens know your choice of hymn or reading no later than Sunday 17th June.

Rev Charlotte to be ordained Priest on Saturday June 30th at 10.30am at Llandaff Cathedral - all are welcome! 

Rev Charlotte's First Celebration on Saturday June 30th at 6.00pm at St Tydfil's old parish church, followed by refreshments - everyone welcome! 

Bus trip to Stratford upon Avon on Tuesday 3rd July please contact Sue Morris. Cost is £5 and there are still some seats available.

Rededication of Ss Peter & Paul, Abercanaid - Bishop June will be coming to the parish to rededicate the church on the 11th July at 7pm. It will be a joy to welcome her into the parish. Because of limited seating in the church the service will be by ticket only. More details to follow.

Walsingham Pilgrimage - July 23rd-26th, £280 or £205 if using own transport. Please contact Dorothy Evans dorothy137@btinternet.com.

Organ Recital with David Thomas - Friday 27th July at 1pm at St David's followed by cheese and wine. Free entry, donations to the St David's organ fund gratefully received. 

Parish BBQ Sunday 29th July at 2pm at Llwyncelyn House. Please bring a chair if you can.

A Fellowship Lunch is held on the last Wednesday of the month at the Castle Hotel at about 12.30-12.45pm. Everyone welcome!

Wednesdays at 11.15am - Baby Bookworms at St David's parish church. Story reading, creative crafts, educational tips and book swapping for young children and their parents.
